One day of the camp is usually set aside for a trip to Matlock and Matlock Bath (2008 update: We are going to the Sutton-in-Ashfield skating rink instead this year). We go to Matlock and campers can either go to the swimming baths to play water polo (and beat up the poor leaders) or have a little freedom to go shopping in groups. We meet up at lunchtime at the bandstand for fish and chips then we go to Matlock Bath to sample the arcades and attractions such as the aquarium.
