Overview

This section covers the legislative requirements of running the camp. All camp leaders are CRB checked through the church and Hucknall National primary and comprehensive schools.

We have first aiders always on site whose skills are regularly refreshed through training via the St John Ambulance service.

We are justly proud of our safety record at camp and maintain a professional attitude to risk assessment and avoidance. All activities at camp, be they traditional or new, are covered by formal risk assessments.

We promote a responsible attitude to risk on camp while trying to maximise campers' freedom and enjoyment.
